80th season of the Kohler Distinguished Guest Series concludes on May 8th
The show tells the true, forgotten story of Nannerl Mozart

KOHLER — The 80th season of the Kohler Distinguished Guest Series will conclude on Thursday, May 8th with The Other Mozart.
The Drama Desk-nominated performance of The Other Mozart is a theatrical performance that the New York Times calls “Strikingly beautiful.”1 The show tells the true, forgotten story of Nannerl Mozart, the sister of Amadeus – a prodigy who performed throughout Europe with her brother to equal acclaim, but her work and her story faded away.2
The show is scheduled for Thursday, May 8th at 7 PM at the Kohler Memorial Theatre, located at 260 School Street. Tickets are available online at kohlerfoundation.org or by calling (920) 458-1972. Ticket prices range from $18 to $35.
The Kohler Foundation, the not-for-profit foundation of the Kohler Company, hosts one of the longest-running performing arts series in the state of Wisconsin. “The performing arts allow us to see the world through others’ eyes. It truly can be a gateway to understanding,” said Angela Ramey, Executive Director of the Kohler Foundation. “And today, more than ever, we need empathy for our neighbors.”
The Distinguished Guest Series premiered in 1944 as part of the Kohler Women’s Club led by Ruth DeYoung Kohler. The club recognized the importance of having a strong arts presence and offering residents exposure to a variety of performance styles. Those philosophies are still at the forefront of the series. DeYoung Kohler died in November 2020 at the age of 79.3
