Youth Art Expo wraps up at JMKAC
The month-long Youth Art Expo honored and celebrated young talent
SHEBOYGAN — Art from area students were on display at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center as part of the 39th annual Youth Art Expo.
The month-long Youth Art Expo honored and celebrated young talent from around Sheboygan County. Gallery visitors were invited to imagine where students are coming from, literally and figuratively. Artists from elementary through high school were featured, and for the first time ever, the educators who guide them had their work on display as well.
In addition to the Sheboygan Area School District, the Plymouth School District, Howards Grove School District and Sheboygan Christian School participated.
The Youth Art Expo was supported by the Kohler Trust for the Arts and Education, Ruth Foundation for the Arts, the Mellon Foundation, the Frederic Cornell Kohler Charitable Trust, Kohler Foundation, the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
