SHEBOYGAN — As a member of the Auto Care Association, Acuity Insurance is donating $20,000 to sponsor toolkits through the association’s Women in Auto Care initiative to help alleviate the toolkit cost barrier in the industry.

“Women in Auto Care is excited to welcome Acuity as our newest sponsor,” said Olivia Droney Newton, Women in Auto Care 2021 Chair. “Thanks to their generous support, we will be able to continue to expand Women in Auto Care’s Scholarship Program for 2022 and provide even more tools to female technicians in training.”

Women in Auto Care provides opportunities, education, and career leadership to women in the auto care industry through conferences, networking, scholarships and education.

“Acuity is proud to promote gender diversity in the auto repair industry by investing in the growth of the female workforce and helping female students pursue their auto care careers,” said Ben Salzmann, Acuity President and CEO.
