TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN — Biggby Coffee could be opening a second location in the Sheboygan area.

Mike McKee is considering building a Biggby Coffee at the northwest intersection of County Road J and County Road Y in the Town of Sheboygan. McKee along with Kathryn McKee purchased the property at W1706 County Road J in February 2021. Laura Anderson, owner of the Biggby Coffee franchise located at 2523 South Business Drive on Sheboygan’s south side, did not want to discuss plans for the potential location. The less than one acre property is in a heavily residential neighborhood.

The proposal was presented to the town’s Plan Commission for a concept review in August. “Nothing has been approved, nor is it on the agenda,” added Town of Sheboygan Chairman Dan Hein. “We are waiting to hear if Biggby wants to proceed.”

In February 2020, the coffeehouse chain opened their first Sheboygan franchise in the former Papa Murphy’s storefront on South Business Drive in the city’s Conoco neighborhood.

Starbucks plans to open their fourth location in the City of Sheboygan on vacant land near Calumet Drive and North Avenue. The city’s Plan Commission approved plans to construct the new 2,230-square-foot Starbucks with a full-service drive‐thru.
